Broke the Cigarette Lighter male port on my emergency 12v air compressor / tire inflator (while of course I was needing it) and having been reminded of the value of a working compressor, I decided to look at a repair or replacement. It not a high end tire inflator (was maybe $20 when I got it) so I wasn't wanting to spend a lot if repairing was a real option, but being able to get 2 connectors (with fuses like the original plug) for $8 was a pretty easy decision. I opted to solder the wires together since they had differing gauges, only hold up on the repair was figuring out the polarity of the compressors wires. Haven't run it long, but the included fuse was more than enough to run the compressor when I tested it. I haven't tried inflating a tire since the repair and the compressor really needs the power / generates heat, but suspect the replacement plug will hold up when its needed
