I purchased the mounting brackets because I had bought the ZH017 22" light bar, and the mounting brackets were too high for the front bumper. The side-mounted brackets would have worked if the holes were made to fit their own light bars. Frustrated. I packaged the light bar up to return it. The next day, after cooling down and debating with myself what to do, I took the brackets and drilled out the holes for the size of the light bar bolts. These worked but it sure could have been easier if the bracket kit would at least fit Nilight's light bars.
Heavy gauge steel, perfect height for the location I was mounting the lights.
Nice kit came with needed brackets and installation hardware.

For my location selection, I did have to trim the tall brackets down a little and drill new mounting holes. Other than that, they are sturdy and easy to install.
