6.3 Inch 18W Spot LED Work Lights (2 Pairs)

Nilights have IC chips for RF interference. This is great for those running GMRS or CB etc.

These are nice lights for use on a 4 wheeler or pontoon boat. You could use them as daylight running lights on a car, or possibly driving lights but the speeds a car moves at may be too fast for the output you get from these lights. Also they’d be blinding to other drivers while still not throwing out the distance needed for driving lights. That said, they are pretty bright for their size and power rating and for a boat or off-road vehicle they’d work well. The beam is a spot/flood combo pattern. More of a spot than flood, but there is enough light casted to the sides all around the spot to serve as a decent flood light. In spite of the light being wide and flat in shape with 6 LEDs, it casts a broad round spot pattern out ahead, not a flat narrow strip. This is the same pattern I’d expect from a single large round light.The wire is a little thin, I believe it’s probably 20 or 22 gauge, but these are only rated for 18 watts each, and on 12 volts that’s just 1.5 amps and the wire will carry that just fine. I have yet to mount mine on my boat but before I do I will add a little sealant to the place where the wire enters the housing. Seems like this is a guaranteed place to get water and moisture inside so I want to make sure that’s sealed up well.The hardware does appear to be stainless steel, at least the mounting bolt, washer, and nut are anyway. This bolt is 8mm shank x 25mm length in size, with a 1.25 thread pitch. The small mount bracket screws and nuts, I’m not so sure about them being stainless steel. They look more like they’re just nickel plated. Time will tell if they rust or not. The bracket itself is most definitely steel and is powder coated. Be careful when you install them not to scratch up the finishes and they likely won’t rust. Also, get yourself a longer Allen wrench to insert the smaller bolts. The one provided is just frustrating.To install these, I believe the process you’ll need to use is to put the large bolt through the bracket and put the nut on it to hold it in place, and then put the bracket on the light. Then remove the nut from the bolt and proceed with mounting it to your vehicle. Once mounted, use a long Allen wrench to reach in from each end to loosen the small screws to adjust the light angle, then snug them down again.Please note that you are only getting two pairs of lights with this, a set of 4 separate lamps with mounting hardware. No wiring and no switches. From what my research shows, the wiring kits these are sometimes sold with aren’t worth getting anyway so why pay more for that? I’m planning to run my own circuits and use better, Carling style switches.My pics show just one light only out in my back yard. The tree line is about 60-70 feet away. This kit came with 4 lights. I can’t wait to get them installed and see how they do on the water. I will update this review with results and more pics.As for longevity, I will update my post as time goes by. We will see how long these last.

Good light

My one complaint is only 3 of the 4 worked out of the box. I can live with that, considering the price. I use them as low beams on my quad. they really compliment the stock lights.

Product was easy to install. I used these lights as back up lights on my 2011 Ford f350. I used a accessory wiring harness for the lights. And wired the OE back up lights circuit onto the relay trigger. I'm glad I bought these. They work great.

Everything is to like. there bright, easy to mount and adjust, easy to wire and among other things they can be used for any type of lighting uses.
