2" Traiiler Hitch

Fast delivery. Perfect fit - but NOT on a Dodge. Nilight needs to find a way to market this hitch to John Deere lawn tractor X590 series!!! (and maybe others?). Fits like a glove. Thanks!

Poor hardware

Looked ok out of the box. Mounted it up and fished the bolts through. When torquing the bolts one ended up stripping out and kept turning. The hardware seems poor quality.I sent a support request and got nothing back after a week. I decided to solve on my own, meaning I had to find a way to fish the bad bolt out, cut off the bad bolt and weld a new bolt on the plate. Not a good experience and I doubt most people would put up with it.Update: The company did email me promptly(it was in my spam folder). They sent out a new part and a good suggestion to remove the bad bolt(push through with a garden hose no water).Changed my review to 4 stars. While I still believe the hardware stinks, it could work for you and at least the company does support it fairly well.

Good product

Simple to install. Straight forward institutions, seems well built and durable. The instructions state 3/4 in socket but I believe I had to use 17/32. The hex head said 1/2 in but was a 22mm. Also one of the lead wires broke as I was trying to pull it through the frame and hitch, good thing they give you two. Other than that it is a great. Small alterations not detrimental to the product by itself.

Hitch seems to be of good quality, but the instructions are incorrect about the hardware size.

I just completed the installation of the hitch, so overall quality is TBD, but it seems solid. The hitch came with all needed parts, but the flat head hex socket screw size was incorrect. The package included a metric 12 mm hex socket instead of the 1/2" listed in the instructions.
