Solar Lego Blocks...

Strain relief seems adequate, Nice covers, for when not in use. Wire seems reasonable. Total resistance for 12ft is 0.1 ohm which seems a little high for 16awg stranded copper wire, but it's probably from the aluminum connectors...I'm using it for a portable solar system for an FT-817 and a small 35 watt linear amplifier and it should never see more than 5-6 amps... Unless one has a flaw I haven't discovered yet they should last me years...

Great product. I did find out the hard way that depending on wich end you plug in where the red and black colors of the wire will not match the polarity. Does not affect the usage, but did give me a good scare when I first noticed it.

Great extension for BatteryMINDer

I purchased this as an extension for my BatteryMINDer. It does exactly what I need. I chose this product specifically because it includes 2 12-foot extension cables; I park my car outside of my garage, and depending on the position that I park in, I might need one or both to attach the plugged-in unit inside the garage to the car outside. I didn't deduct one star for the small issue I found - the plugs were an *almost* perfect match for the plugs on the BatteryMINDer units but required just a bit too much force to attach in my application, but still functions perfectly fine.I would definitely buy this again if I had need.
