Unfortunately this was more than we needed, so we gave it to someone else that could use it.
Expected to be able to turn off the lights on it without interrupting charging, but it actually has a power button that shuts off the power.
I bought a lower trim of a yard tractor and it has a place to put a 12 volt outlet but didn't come with one. I used this spot to mount the USB charger.I've paired it with a Ram Mounts phone mount and a decent USB cord and it charges my phone quickly while I'm out on the backside of my property mowing.

Item as described. Seems to work ok.
unfortunately this is not a direct fit for American vehicles as the plug is larger than most cigarette holes. that being said delivers the most power options in the smallest space unlike most products that offer connections but sacrifice power when using multiple electronics.
Was able to install on a Yamaha SX210 glove box. Would have been nice to have a longer wire, but easy to overcome with correct size longer wire that can be spliced in.
If you’re replacing a cigarette lighter on a boat you have to drill a hole out larger.
