Connection Steps
Step 1
Prepare two wires
Step 2
Strip two wires and then insert them into the closed-end connector.
Step 3
Crimp the connector with pliers.
Step 4
The connection between wires and connector is done.
Simple way to secure wires in an insulated housing. I choose to solder 2 stripped wire ends, then insert in the device and pinch tight with my wire stripping pliers, but I think the crush of the device with narrow-ended pliers like the wire strippers would be secure.
good variety to handle different wire sizes on boat
These are good quality closed end crimps. They are easy to crimp. Great for car audio installations.
I'd just use these for low voltage or audio, they lack a UL logo anywhere.But they do work as advertised
Combined with the appropriate crimp tool, these work great. No failures so far (about 50 connections made) and the wires are nice and tight. Better than butt connectors in my opinion and easier to crimp.
I used them for stereo wiring. I prefer these over anything else.
